The Voice of Truth

Me: Riley, did you have fun today in ballet class?
Riley: Yes, I danced and held hands with the other kiddos. My favorites are Lily and Piper. I like Jenna and Medicine too.
Me: Medicine?
Riley: Yes! I like her.
Me: Oh, you mean Madison?
Riley: Who's Madison? No, I mean Medicine.

Short post today because I'm exhausted and need to catch up on sleep!

I ran across this song a few days ago and it instantly became a favorite.

Man, I can relate. I hear voices all the time - seeds of doubt in my mind that can grow like weeds if I let them. Sometimes they carry away my thoughts and my emotions before I even realize what is happening. These are moments where I unknowingly turn away from my loving God and allow myself consider that this broken world had more control than He did.

But the voice of truth is louder and stronger. And the more I read scripture and the more that I talk with God, the more I am reminded that there is only one voice of truth. And that voice says, "Trust me. Do not worry or be afraid." I am so grateful for this gift of peace.

I pray that His voice of truth brings you peace this week.

"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32
